PROGRAM SERVICES DESCRIPTION

All the Little Things Country, Inc. provides services for individuals with disabilities including home and community services, day habilitation, vocational training and supported employment for developmentally disabled adults and extended school services for minor children. This strengthens families who are caring for their loved one with a disability at home. Clients also come from area group homes and foster care homes.

There are more than 13,000 individuals on the HCS/MRLA waiting list in the state of Texas. These individuals need good day habilitation in addition to many other services. There are inadequate providers available to serve their habilitation needs which cause many families to leave employment in order to care for their challenged loved one at home. Day habilitation is an essential service for a developmentally delayed individual after completing public education. Individuals acquire, retain and/or improve self-help skills necessary to reside outside institutions and nursing homes in the community. All the Little Things Country, Inc. provides age appropriate training, experiences and activities that enhance self-esteem and maximizes an individual’s functioning level.
